Average January daily minimum temperature across Europe's NUTS 2 regions, from Copernicus Climate Data Store (ERA5-Land). Pan and zoom the map to compare Italy against Spain, France, Portugal, Greece, the UK and Albania.
How it’s built. Mean of January's daily minimum 2m temperature, averaged across 2015-2024 and across every ERA5-Land grid cell inside each NUTS 2 region's own boundary. Fixed calendar month (January), same reasoning as the comune-grain layer of the same name.
