How it’s built. Mean number of days per year with a daily maximum 2m temperature of 30C or more, averaged across 2015-2024 (ten baseline years — a deliberate departure from the WMO's 30-year normal period, given CDS's per-request cost cap; see scripts/etl/era5.py's own docstring).
