How it’s built. Vehicle thefts per 100,000 population, per NUTS 3 region (province-equivalent), OECD's own Regional Statistics database (DSD_REG_SOC@DF_SAFETY, MEASURE=VEH_THEFT — the same dataflow as intentional homicide rate, a second real measure from its shared table), 2023 — the newest year before a 2024 reporting-lag drop. A genuinely long-tailed rate, the same shape as homicide: this map's existing IQR-fence colour scale (computeDomain(), applied to every non-'count' unit) handles it without new code.
