How it’s built. Foreign-born population as a share of the working-age (15-64) population, per NUTS 2 region, OECD's Regional Statistics database (DSD_REG_MIGRANT@DF_MIGR_STOCK, MEASURE=POP, ORIGIN=FB, UNIT_MEASURE=PT_POP_SUB), 2019 — the newest year before the series stops entirely in 2020. Distinct from every Italy-map citizenship/residency layer here: those count foreign CITIZENS registered in Italy specifically; this counts people born abroad, OECD-wide, the survey-based definition rather than a population-registry one.
