How it’s built. Share of population with disposable income below 60% of the national median, per NUTS 2 region (roughly region-equivalent), Eurostat's own ilc_li41 dataset (2024) — the specific NUTS 2 member of the ilc_* family this map's build spec flagged as needing a series picked first; ilc_li02 is the related national-only cross-tab, not used here. Coverage for this dataset rises then falls over time; the year was last reviewed on 2026-10-03, when 2024 replaced 2022 (2025 has fewer regions).
