How it’s built. Share of population with disposable income below 60% of the national median, per NUTS 2 region (roughly region-equivalent), Eurostat's own ilc_li41 dataset (2022) — the specific NUTS 2 member of the ilc_* family this map's build spec flagged as needing a series picked first; ilc_li02 is the related national-only cross-tab, not used here. Chosen year: coverage for this dataset RISES then falls over time (unlike this map's other layers), and 2022 is both the highest-coverage year and the last one with Albania.
