How it’s built. Share of population living in a household where total housing costs exceed 40% of disposable income, per NUTS 2 region (roughly region-equivalent), Eurostat's own ilc_lvho07_r dataset (2024) — found by searching Eurostat's own dataset catalog for "housing cost overburden", not by guessing at ilc_lvho07* code variants (several guesses 404'd). This dataset's own series only starts in 2021; the year was last reviewed on 2026-10-03, when 2024 replaced 2022 (2025 has fewer regions). Boundaries: github.com/eurostat/Nuts2json, 2021 typology.
