Is life actually good here?

BES (Benessere Equo e Sostenibile) is Italy’s official well-being framework — 67 indicators across 11 domains, published annually for every province. Pick 2–4 provinces to compare them side by side, domain by domain.

This compares a curated set of 15 expat-relevant indicators, not the full 67 — pick any of all 67 in the indicator explorer, or weight the domains yourself in personalised rankings. Percentile ranks are polarity-aware: a higher percentile always means “better,” whether the underlying indicator is naturally higher-is-better (like life expectancy) or lower-is-better (like PM10 concentration).
